COVID-19

Like many business both small and large, Oremme has been greatly impacted by the spread of COVID-19 and its ripple effect. As of March 24, 2020 all non-essential Ontario businesses were mandated to temporarily close. As the situation unfolds we've been doing our best to update information and manage delivery expectations. As of May 1, the Birdie Hoops, Chubbie Hoops, Connect Necklaces and Bracelets are in-stock and shipping. Orders in by Monday nights ship Wednesday afternoon each week. Production for all made-to-order pieces remains paused until further notice. Your support and patience is never unappreciated.

Shipping

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via your email on file. Make sure your Oremme emails aren’t going to spam to be sure you don’t miss any updates.

Oremme offers two types of products: ready-to-wear and made-to-order. Our ready-to-wear collection is in stock and will ship 2 - 3 days after you’ve placed your order. This includes Birdie Hoops, Chubbie Hoops, Connect Chain, and Connect Bracelet, Mini Band, Midi Band, and Maxi Band. All gemstone and diamond pieces are made-to-order in varying amounts of time. Production estimates are listed on all relevant products.

Canada orders are shipped for free with Canada Post Expedited Parcel in 1 to 7 business days while US orders are shipped using UPS. You will receive a confirmation email containging a tracking number as soon as your item ships. 

Shipping is free, just as it should be.

Canadian deliveries are always duty-free, while USA deliveries over $800 USD may be charged. Oremme is not responsible for the duties owed. Relevant taxes will be displayed at checkout.

Returns + Exchanges

All sales are eligible for exchange or store credit only. We are happy to offer a one-time, complimentary resizing if a made-to-order item. To request an exchange, please email hello@oremme.com within 14 days of receiving your item(s) along with your order number. You are responsible for returning your package safely to our facility. We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance in the event your package is lost.

Sizing

Oremme ring sizes follow the US/CAN Standard guidelines. For the most accurate sizing, we recommend stopping into your jeweler to be sized. Alternatively, you can follow our guidelines.

Product Care

Each product requires a little bit of love for a lifetime of wear. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, store it in a safe place like its jewelry box or soft pouch.

10k + 14k Gold

Solid gold is a precious metal that will not tarnish or discolor. Solid gold can be worn anytime, anywhere, which means you can sleep, shower, and sweat in your pieces. To care for your gold, brush lightly with a toothbrush and warm water from time to time.

Diamonds

As one of the hardest natural substances on earth, diamonds can withstand 24/7 wear. To keep your diamonds brilliant, brush lightly with a toothbrush, warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Gemstones

Oremme uses a rainbow of precious stones including sapphire, ruby, emerald, blue topaz, citrine, amethyst.  Precious stones are softer than diamonds and should be removed during showering, exercise, or any other rough hand work. Precious stones are also heat and chemical sensitive, so make sure to remove your pieces before hot showers, applying lotions, or using cleaning products. To clean your gemstones, brush lightly with a toothbrush and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Absolutely. The diamonds in Oremme’s collection are sourced in accordance with the UN’s Kimberley Process. Additionally, the gemstones we use are sourced only from suppliers that are Responsible Jewellery Council members.

Gold is a soft material that will scratch and scuff with wear, and this is completely normal (and unavoidable). Fresh pieces will be glossy and with time will develop a beautiful patina. 

Our Birdie and Chubbie Hoops are solid gold, tube hoops. That means they are hollow and are prone to denting. This is considered normal wear and will not be replaced. Make sure you’re not doing too much headbanging and you should be fine.

Oh no! Diamonds and gemstones are being held in place by settings, which if banged or crushed can weaken. If you’ve lost a stone, we will happily replace and inspect it one time. If your piece has lost a stone, please remove it and place it in a safe place until it’s returned to us.

Once your piece has been modified or repaired by a third party jeweler, Oremme will no longer be responsible for refunds or replacements.

Oremme sends all orders in the same minimal and beautiful packaging.

Sezzle

Sezzle is an online payment option that allows you to pay for your payment in four interest-free payments.

Nope! There are no additional fees or interest if you choose to pay with Sezzle.

If you can't make a payment on an order, Sezzle will let you reschedule a payment for free. If you need to make further reschedules, each one will be assessed a $5 fee.

If a payment does fail, usually due to a card being canceled or there not being enough funds available in your account at the time, a $10 failed payment fee will be added on to that payment. This is separate from any overdraft fees your bank may charge you. Sezzle will send you text and email notifications to make sure you're never surprised, and if you get the failed payment resolved within 48 hours of it failing, we'll even waive that fee.

Once a fee has been paid, there is no way to reverse it.

Sezzle completes what’s known as a “soft check,” which means they take a look at your credit score as part of their risk check, but this doesn’t have an impact on your credit score.
